The Path of IS: Humanity At The Crossroads

"The goal is to not have one.

It is better to live ones life cherishing every moment -

Treat every breath as a gift,

Embrace existence itself.

The journey is never ending.

Embrace the moment and let the Journey be the goal. "

Humanity has been bred to be slaves. We’ve been genetically and socially manipulated to accept the myth of human inadequacy. We have been bred to be subservient to a King, a Nation, a God, a Demon - something, anything but rely on our own ability to manifest the very existence we participate in.

We have been trained to accept our fall from Eden, our premature entry into the realm of divine consciousness where we envision Creator as something separate from ourselves.

It really is a simple matter of accepting our own divinity - Embrace the Creator that exists within us - Embrace our place in Creation - Embrace the Creator that IS us.

The role of humanity is at a crossroads. Two paths lay before us:

1.Continuing our slave-human legacy, begging for mercy and a handout from a spiritual Hierarch in exchange for our subservience.

2. Embracing our part in Creation itself and embarking on the Infinite Journey - Participating in the manifestation that is our universe.

The fist path prolongs our enslavement and insures the continued degradation of the human condition. It likely leads us to the ultimate demise of humanity itself.

The second path has always existed for us. It leads us on a Journey beyond words.  It is time to dispense with our fear of death, and embrace our very existence - our IS-Ness.

We not only are born of Earth, but of the dust and ash of the heavens. We have been forged by the celestial fire of the stars. We are, and always have been children of both Heaven and Earth. Our place in Creation already IS!

Difference in IS-ness: The IS-ness of a tree is different than the Is-ness of a dog, which is different than the IS-ness of a human-being. So there is evolution at work. Hence embracing the IS-ness is only part of the story. The other part is to let it evolve into a higher state of IS-ness - one that you cannot acknowledge until you get there...Hence Jesus came, hence Buddha came and hence the current flood of spirituality...

Anonymous,

Yes, IS-ness is only part of the story. The other part is the Infinite Journey.

You've chosen to remove the Infinite Journey from the concept of IS-ness and have replaced it with this theory of "evolution" instead.

The evolution theory entraps us in the perception of linear time. It "theorizes" that some "perfect" state is achieved in some time, any time, other than NOW.

IS-ness embraces the existence of Creator in all manifest Creation. This means Creator exists in perfection in everything at all times, past, NOW and future. While its true that Trees, Dogs and humans are different, Creator exists in all of them - so who are we to judge? In fact even Jesus and Buddha have espoused this concept in their teachings - and I never read anything about them talking about how un-evolved a tree or dog is!

More on this theory of evolution. It is finite - its stuck in the moment. It implies that we arrive at some finite destination at some finite point in the future. So until then, mere mortals must embrace their "un-evolved" states. They must surrender to more "evolved" beings - I don't believe this is true or even a healthy belief system to follow...

But you are correct, the concept of IS-ness is incomplete without also embracing more. That is the Infinite Journey - the Journey that neither begins or ends. When the Infinite Journey is embraced, then all infinite possibilities exist in every moment.

Needless to say, I have seen religions and spiritual organizations using linear time and such theories of evolution to establish a privileged and "evolved" hierarchy - which generally end up enslaving the "un-evolved" masses.

... And the flood of spirituality didn't come with Jesus and Buddha. They are part of it for sure, but I assure you, it existed from the moment our universe was manifested, and perhaps before that.

So I guess I disagree pretty much with everything you say here. Sorry!

Wow, I love this. I have been an abhyasi in the SRCM for such a long time.... and am finally entertaining thoughts of being free from it. What a .... refreshing experience. To think that our goal is here and now, not ever something that must ' be attained' which i'm so used to hearing about in speeches, talks, books, etc. I'd love to talk more about this. Especially I agree that we have been bred to be slaves since time immemorial, it's almost as though we are genetically predisposed to hand our power away.... I chose to hand my power away somewhere other than the church of my parents, thinking I had somehow made progress, or a better choice, but it was the same decision all over again, just handing away my power somewhere else!!

Hello Anonymous,

You have pointed out something I have failed to really drive home - that is that many of us in the West chose to seek answers in the East thinking it would set us free, and have managed only to find a different cultural rendition of spiritual bondage.

I appreciate your thoughtful comments!

As you proceed with your dis-entanglement from spiritual materialism and bondage, feel free to share your perspective in this process. It is helpful to to those still entangled to witness your unique perspective. It is also inspiring to those of us who have already dis-entangled ourselves. There's a growing community of us willing to share experiences and offer support, so you are by no means alone.

You can contact me via email directly through my profile page on this site if you want to connect privately.

Best Regards,

Michael
